Now I'm fairly new to waterfowl hunting, and was wondering what are some good or bad signs that this could be a good year. I know things could change at anytime. But what are the general things you want to see in the off season? Any info would be great.

Well this weather (snow and what not, here and north) is more than likely going to affect Canada Goose breeding numbers along with success. I would personally expect to see more geese that end nesting in new places due to the weather, in return I am expecting to see a higher local goose population this summer (bring on September 1st). Duck in my mind shouldn't be affected unless this weather continues into May, but what do I know we will just have to wait and see!
