Just went on a trip today and made a couple different purchases of craigslist today. Bought 2.5 dzn shells from 1 guy. Then Went and picked up a dozen rubber collapsible full bodies. Has anyone had any luck with these? They look pretty realistic, and I got them for a good price. So I figured can't hurt to try them.

I have some rubber collapsable duck decoys, the don't look the best and are older than the hills, but they are very light and easy to backback places where I don't want to drag a 12 slot into. They also get the job done! As long as they look somewhat like a duck I wouldn't be to worried.

I've used a number of the featherlight decoys with the photo finish and the hard heads on them. Like you said up close they don't look like much, but the are always moving on the water, and thrown in with your regular decoys I think they work great! They also work great when you have to walk a ways into a spot.

those sport plast will be a good start.
if they look like a goose and you can keep them popped out. then they will work. over time they get to where they wont pop out. I bought 18 for $35 back after season went out but sold em 2 weeks later when a guy who came to look at some other decoys I had offered me 50 for em.
They should get the job done.even if you have to fab up some sort of T style stake instead of the black plastic one. post a photo.
guy on craigslist in rockford i think has 2 dz left.
