Just wondering if anybody is getting a new gun this year for waterfowling? If so what is it?
I know I won't be able to swing one this year, but I love my versa max so much I don't know what I would get to replace it.

I went ahead last year and invested in what I considered to be a dedicated waterfowl gun last summer. I loved hunting with it this year, so unless the thing falls apart or I drop in in 20 feet of water I probably won't be buying a new duck hunting gun for a long time, if ever.

^. That's what I run but it stopped cycling 3.5" shells. Found out the year after I bought it 2012 they changed the reciever so I need to send mine in.
Brother picked up a new gun and also got one for his birthday. Gonna set one up with a super full for waxing cripples.

Yeah I got a mossberg 535 for my birthday but it is so light and it kicks like a mule! So I went ahead and got a stoeger m3500. I have had the 3500 out once this year and it cycled everything I put in it. And I don't feel the punishment that mossberg gave me.

^ They better. I haven't called them or sent it in just trolling the internet on what happened that way if they tell me they haven't heard of the issue I will email them multiple pages of people.

One guy at our gun club had the choke tube basically split in his A400. They actually took pretty good care of him. They said they thought they had a bad batch of barrels and asked him to send his barrel in so they could evaluate it.
He told me he would be have been fine with just a replacement barrel but they wound up sending him a whole new gun and didn't waste alot of time doing it.
I haven't had any trouble with mine, knock on wood. I don't shoot alot of 3.5" shells and almost never load all 3.5". I will usually put a 3.5" shell in as my last shot and it's always cycled out but then it's not feeding another shell. I should probably try running a bunch of 3.5" shells through it consecutively and see what happens. Now you got me worried!
