What is your favorite hunting show to watch this time of the year?
I mostly watch duck hunting shows, and RNT-V is probably my favorite. I used to love D3, but it is no longer on. My favorite non waterfowling show is probably Jim Shokey's show.
What is your favorites?

been watching more fishing stuff lately, IDO.
I use to watch more duck hunting shows but it seems to be all advertising and little hunting now a days. That avain show seems like its three small clips of hunting and a ton of ads. I find myself with less time to watch tv that I use to have. Work sun up to sun down, then when I get home its family time. Monday and Thurs its wrestling practice for the kid and sat is hockey practice and sunday I try get out on the ice

Probably Ducks Unlimited for waterfowl shows, although there is a new one on the Outdoor channel called Heartland Waterfowl that is pretty good. Only saw one episode of that so far. There are so few waterfowl shows compared to deer hunting and stuff. There are even more predator hunting shows that waterfowl shows it seems. And yes, the commercials are ridiculous. Half the time I switch during a commercial and come back three minutes later just as they are breaking for more commercials.
I also like watching fishing shows especially in the winter when they are ice fishing. Jason Mitchell, "We Love it Outdoors", even that goof Gillespie. I also like watching those African hunting shows. Under Wild Skies etc.
I just found out about the Sportsman channel and saw that they have a few decent looking waterfowling shows so I'm definitely going to subscribe to that package.

yeah I agree about hunting shows with the commercials, fishnig shows are just as bad I feel, that is why I don't watch them to much. Another thing with hunting shows I don't watch to much are snow goose hunting shows. I think there spreads are cool, but watching a bunch of guys massacre flock after flock of geese gets old watching it on TV. But I do love hunting them.

Well since we are on a minor complaint rant... I can't stand back ground music trying to make a working group of birds that much more epic. I would rather listen to poor calling than some stupid rock song..../ fowl life for life bros..////

I can see how it would appeal to that 12 to 16 maybe upto 18 yr old group. I would not consider myself old by any means, but even to me these guys trying to look bad rear in this life style of heroism they live..... is just a joke and imo makes us look bad. Or maybe I am just a bit to conservative for this modern fad.

yeah I agree with you completely. Another thing I don't like to watch and I know a lot of guys do are close ups of impact shots, I feel like that focuses in on the wrong aspect of hunting, and kind of makes us look bad. But I would rather see that that cripples flopping around though too.
Probably my favorite show on tv is Bottom Feeders, anybody ever watch it? It follows commercial fisherman in Wisconsin on there lines. No shameless promo's or anything, just what they do. I love it.

^Not all of them are waterfowl based, but I have seen a few that are. If you enjoy farming land for wildlife its not a bad watch. I have def seen much worse.
