Anyone else seeing a lack of birds. Was out this morning and Sunday morning, maybe seen 25 geese total. And Saturday almost no ducks at all

I've been seeing plenty of ducks, but they are all stale and very educated. I have not been seeing many geese flying at all where I am hunting, only a small flock a day that's it.

still have some birds, but they are on the move out of here. still some local mallard and woodies. not much for migrators to be seen other then last week when they were everywhere, now they are gone. mostly divers, and some mallard. still some to shoot at but very smart, tough hunting.

I spoke to a warden just west of Hayward on Sunday. He said the weekend before, when it was extremely windy, was a really great time to hunt. Birds "everywhere" Well, shoot.

On our drive north this last weekend there were good numbers of birds off in protected sloughs.

Hunting is frustrating for sure. I normally hunt between Leech Lake in MN and Webb Lake area in Burnett County. Leech was LOADED with birds 2 weeks ago. Last weekend at Webb Lake. Nothing but local big ducks and they won't give you a look. My counterparts on Leech had a big drop off too. Everything is stalled out right now. I'm not going to hunt again until Nov. 1st weekend.

Well I'm all the way down in Kenosha and Racine, but at the beginning of the season it was nothing to see a couple hundred Birds in one morning I went there this morning and seen 5. In the past two times I went goose hunting I see maybe 50 Birds total where before I would see at least 500. Feel like the birds have pushed out already

Jtg1551 - I'm in your neck of the woods and I'd say this area is loaded with geese right now.

Weird, I've been out so much lately, and I haven't been seeing squat. I drove past echo lake today and there had to be 500+ geese out there as far as I could seen.

And then when I go back into the city (Kenosha) there are geese everywhere

I think the birds are starting to spread out and fly different flight paths due to recent fields getting picked.
