Am I the only one not seeing the quantity of birds I normally see? Sunday at the marsh.....absolutely NOTHING!! Not one bird, not one woodie calling, stone quiet, nothing flew. Yesterday on the Fox River......nothing! Not one bird in the air. Also. both of those days, I didn't even see strings of geese on the horizen, like a typical fall Oct 15th day!!! Maybe Elvis is scaring them all away? stan b

its been pretty slow for us as well. Sat morning was teal galore but sunday ducks were flying high and heading out. Hoping this cool weather pushes some birds down to us.

I guess it's slow for us as well. Especially for geese, when we had to shift over to the Grand River area last weekend we knew we wouldn't see all that many ducks but we figured a goose or two was a given. They typically come out of the marsh and fly right over the pond we set up on. Saw a couple of flights early then it just stopped. As far as ducks, it's been better than last year for sure when we basically saw nothing at all because of the drought. But it could be a little better. I think the weather is starting to turn a little and I'm hoping that helps.

Seemed like I seen a lot more ducks during early goose then now but that's probably because I couldn't shoot them then. Geese are starting to get a little heavier around here, need some colder weather up north though.
