If it's Federal oened and operated land, it's closed. If it's jointly owned and operated by the State and the Feds, it may or may not be open check with the locals. If it's State land it's open. Simple as that.
There are 41 WPA's in the Leopold District of the Wildlife Refuge system, don't expect the paper to list them all. Anyone who plans to hunt a WPA (and it looks like I may be the only one) better do their own homework.

Oh they were closed? That's not what I heard. lol
That's awesome! I didn't see it last friday so we hunted the Grand River this weekend and it sucked. Great News!!!
