I was wondering if any of you have used any of the motorized decoy systems like the duck commander set up with the swimming ducks or the Mojo one with the three decoys on it with the trolling motor, I forgot the name of them. I know you need to plug them into a 12 volt battery, but I was wondering if anybody has used them.
Thanks, Tanner

Well I never touched the darn thing my buddy was always screwing with it early in the morning then it sometimes wouldn't reach the battery so we gotta move it. Can't handle weeds. Those arms that attach to the motor mount to the decoy pop off a lot. It seemed to be his priority to fix that darn thing when the ducks were coming so maybe that's why I hate it so much lol just my 2 cents

x2 on what Wackenstack said, nothing but a pain in the rear, bulky and annoying.
We run higdon pulsators instead. Have had great luck with them, no break downs, runs good in weeds, and the battery as an anchor works out real nice. Hunted them hard now for one season with no issues(yet).
I know one guy who has the wake maker thing. They say it works good on ducks but they only run it from time to time due to set-up. He also hunts with usually two dogs and they will make a mess out of it in a hurry, or so he says. I have never hunted over one or set one up.

I own 20 mojos, 1 splasher flasher, 1 wonder duck, 2 pulsators, 1 mallard machine, 1 rig em right jerk rig, 2 mojo brand decoy jerk a spreaders.
Obviously I use the mojos, more so in the timber then here in WI.
Hands down the best thing is the jerk a spreader. It makes 12 decoys move in the water and shoots ripples throughout a larger area. Add some carabiner clips to the rig and a 12 slot decoy bag and it simplifies it a lot.
I like my mallard machine but it needs to be anchored or it runs all over the place.
Pulsators are ok but im just not sold on them yet.
Wonder duck will be put to the test this year.
Rig em right right is a great set up for walking in or when packing light.
I also got a motorized jerk rig with a wireless remote, they sold em a long time ago. I haven’t messed with it just yet but I will this coming season to see how it works out also.

3 mojos wont cut it in the timber. It's just different hunting in different areas. I dont use that many here but back home 10 is the normal. I've always had several teal/wood duck for early season. i have 6 floater mojos. 2 baby mojos on AA batteries for walking in. and the rest are the standard baby mojos.

^^ well Freddy and the Rusty creasy boys seem to get it done with just a jerk rig in the timber...
If you could run a lares you wouldn't need no spinners.
