Picked up a six pack of the backwater feeders. Not bad. I'm liking the soft plastic. First impression is good. Held up to a little scratch test pretty well. Gonna Texas rig them and run em hard, hope they hold up.
Anyone run them on here this past season?

Yeah I ran 12 of them last year, I was really nervous they were going to end up like my GHG mallards, they seem similar, but they were way better. No paint chips and I think they look great. I love mine!

I was thinkin the same thing but the materials are far different. Only thing that's close are some of the postures. My buddy brought some Dakotas over for me to look at. The arnt as bad as some of the pictures make them out to be. But I'm still on the teeter with those. To bad i bought a bunch of progrades before last season. Should have spent it else where.
Good to hear yours held up. Did U matte finish them to help?

No I didn't do anything to them, just straight out of the box.

I think I may give them a dusting of krylon just for the sake of it.

i think they look pretty decent.
im still going with the Januarys. I need something to stand out in the dark lighting in the timber and i have had good luck with prograde mallards.

Indeed that has done well for me. Yielded me a solo shot on a banded mallard this season as zeke was tending to some bacon.

yeah I started getting food out of my bag. got out a sausage egg and cheese out from the gas station. 5 mallards dumped in and i actually shot a triple. looked around and bisquit was gone and dog looked at me for a split second then dove in after the ducks
