Hey all you guys close to the river, how high is the water there now? I know you guys have been getting nailed with rain lately.

As far as what ft, not sure, but it is darn high to say the least. The root river is over the banks. low crop land is now lake land. Stumps are littered all over the place. Small creeks blew out railroad crossing. It has already started to recede. The small low lying towns got it real bad. Basements flooded. A couple small areas evacuated as the bluff sides threated to come down. Houston has been placed into a state of emergency.
haven't seen it like this in many years. A lot of boat landings you can even see except for the tops of signs. The further down from la crosse you go the worse it is.
