Had a nice session last night at Bong in Kenosha. Did some channel blind work. Pretty challenging stuff. Then ran some marks. Tight triple. All I can say is "the nose can be our friend and can be our enemy!!!" All in all a nice session. The weather was here, wish you were good!!! Or somethin' like that. ;D RK

I find this more so a problem for those running tests/trials. I have found my self pushing my dog off his nose hunting only to find out his nose was right. Obviously you need more of a robot dog if your being judged, but I would loose a few birds each year if I didn't trust my dogs nose from time to time. Going to on old fall can be a pain in the arse, but sail a cripple off in a true hunting situation where you have to walk or boat to an island or a thick rice patty, where you thought the bird went, often looks different upon getting there.
