Hows the spring or how did your spring planting go for ya. My old man and I got our last fields finished over the weekend. We have 340 acres we farm for wildlife, only abour 50ish we plant. We have some sandy soil so these rains are great for our crops. Buddy of mine plants for a living and is having a hell of a time getting into some fields with the mass amounts of rain we had. Hes had to resort to plan B.....

Used to work on a farm when I was younger. Wish my family wouldve bought into some land so I had some place to get away from the yahoos who call themselves hunters

The farm I work for has close to 1500 in still have some custom jobs left an some soybeans to plant. With the rain we are really struggling to get first crop hay started only have 2 of 14 farms we do are cut and chopped. lots of work to be done it can stay sunny for more than 2 days straight.

It spreads heavily thru the entire economy if farmers cant get there work accomplished. Also we need them for the birds ;D
