What did you guys pick up for new decoys this season? I got the pro grade pintails and gadwalls this spring, they look sweet. I just picked up the new B2 canvasbacks, and the higdon canvasbacks too. I also ordered the Banded canvasbacks, GHG pro-grade cans and ringbills. Hoping to see them soon to see what they look like.
What did you guys get so far?

Didnt buy any new decoys. Wanted to add some movement to my spread. Picked up two quiver butts. A rig em' right jerk string. Also ordered some remotes from china to rig in my baby mojos. Always hated going out in the spread to turn em off when I felt they were doing more harm than good.

Nothing new for me except a box of inflatables that I bought almost as a gag. I may actually try them out though in one spot I have in mind. I'll laugh my butt off if I can shoot something over these.

I'm giving goose hunting a try this year I bought a half dozen "new to me" big foots and made a dozen silos out of hard board. Plan on buying some of the higdon foam filled mallard floaters also.

Nice!! Vandyvan, I have used those inflatables before, for a spot that I had to walk really far into. I wanted to get as big of a spread as I could. they worked, unless it was about 40 minutes into shooting time and the sun was out, there was pretty bad glare coming off of the bodies. They worked though. If they had a different finish on the bodies they would be pretty sweet!

I have a few lakes that are really good for geese, but not ducks. So if I get the itch, I have a good floater spread. But other than that, I just run a dzn when Duck hunting

I think I paid $20 for the box, brand new unopened. So it's not like I have much invested. Some of the places I hunt there is definitely a use for a handful of dekes that can be stuffed into a small pack.

Goose floaters are by far my fav decoy. I think my new favorite is the avian-x wood duck decoys. To me, the hen is the best I've ever seen.

I'll laugh my butt off if I can shoot something over these.Well, I shot a duck over them. lol Took the inflatables out this weekend and I have to admit, they worked out pretty well from the standpoint of being easy to pack in and out. They looked pretty good actually but their best feature, as far as I was concerned, is the amount of motion you get from the tiniest breath of wind. I really didn't notice a hideous glare off of them even though I was set up on the west side and the sun was shining on them hard from the east for a few hours. First day was a little windier and I thought they would bounce around like balloons on the water but I was in a semi-protected area and they looked fine. Sunday was very calm early but they basically kept moving the whole time. Actually looked pretty natural. Didn't draw anything into them that day but I would say they are definitely better than nothing. Packing and carrying four inflatables, two feeder butts, two GWT dekes, and a quiver magnet was actually very easy and about as much as I'd ever use on this small body of water. Wind dictated the side I had to set up on, had I hunted the easier to access east side I would probably have just humped in regular dekes and a jerk rig. But all in all they came in handy and I'll use them again if conditions call for it. Final note. I just went back and checked my Ebay account to see what I paid for the inflatables. I paid $14.99 shipping included for a brand new box of six. I think I got lucky because the person selling them seemed to be a flea market type who just had a random mix of stuff for sale. Not an outdoors specific seller. So it really was a good deal. The mfg lists them at $44.99 for the same box on their website. $15 bucks was a great deal. $20-25 would be ok. I wouldn't pay $45-50 bucks for them though, that's for darn sure.
