I saw an article in the American Hunter magazine for the best pair of binoculars under $200. The winners of their test were the Leupold Yosemite binoculars in 6 x 30. They described them as an absolute steal at around $129, with optical quality that matched binoculars much higher in price. I keep alot of cheap binoculars around in my vehicles, and in various packs and bags. Tascos, Bushnells etc, but I wanted a compact pair that was of a little better quality. So after reading one positive review after another I decided to buy a pair of the Yosemites, but I opted for the 8 x 30 config. I have to say, these are really excellent field glasses. Very light, compact, fully waterproof, and they work great. They are very bright and have a really nice field of view. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of glasses in the $100 range. Going price on the net seems to be around $80 in black, add about $20 for camo. If you are looking for a compact pair to throw in your truck, boat, or just set on the windowsill to watch birds or spy on the neighbors, you can't go wrong with these in my opinion.
