Since we have plenty of time before the 9 am opener, I like to make breakfast. This years, was probably the best I have ever had, my dad and I breakfast taco's. I fried bacon, sausage, and chorizo. I then sauteed peppers and onions. When that was all done, I added four eggs to the whole mess. I then heated up some tortilla's, and they were amazing! wasn't that hard to cook in the blind either. We did burritos as well. Chorizo, eggs, cheese, cubed canned potatoes with shredded cheese. I have no idea what chorizo is but it is darn good with breakfast.

Since this area has gotten worse every year with people I stopped getting up early to get set up on. So we launched at 7 and did our best to not set up on the other groups. My breakfast was a ham sandwich are from off the bone ham, some chicken in a brisket crackers washed down with some brisk tea.

My opening day breakfast was a scoop of protein powder mixed with milk and two big slugs of Pepto- Bismol.
I always take a couple big slugs of Pepto the tonight before and the morning of in an attempt to constipate myself so I don't have to take a crap in the marsh. It works, most of the time.

Duck hunting and chit stories are some of the best laughs. Couple years ago we were out on a big marsh about ankle deep without dry land in sight. I couldn't prairie dog it any longer. I took the slimmer poles and jammed them into the mud. Operation skin pole dump, well a lot halfway thru the poles started to give and well..... Gravity....

Ha! Nice. Yeah we all have our fair share of stories and they usually are pretty good. In fact on opening day my buddy had a situation that required him cutting off a big chunk of his t-shirt for a clean up operation.

" I took the spinner poles" and "well about half way through"
