2006 tall transom 36 PD/fpr with BPS 45 internals, Iron Mountain heads, and Mikuni single carb
BPS kit was done by Al Hodges in 2009. 6 hours ago a piston ring failed and I completely had the motor rebuilt by Muddy waters, feel free to contact them to verify the motor work. Had the IM heads re-worked and cleaned up, carb was rebuilt with new boots installed and retuned, bored out .020 now has aries pistons on top of all the other mods. Marsh mellow exhaust. Hull has 230 hours on it, has a couple dents but no hooks, the dents don’t seem to affect the performance. In the last year I put a new clutch in, new coupler, Illowa marine completely rewire the entire boat, put a new oil pan in and new Teflon bushing in also, feel free to verify work with them also. In the past year I have put just under 6k into re-doing things that were done the old way or the wrong way.
fan trimmed down
ported intake
Carb Cover
new lower unit with 151 hours on it
prop has about 10 hours on it
tach was reset at 83 hours because it went hay wire for some reason when I had to cut the wire on the rev limiter
Total hours on the re built motor are 6, still breaking it in. Tach reads 147
hydraulic remote reverse
hydraulic tilt and trim
new battery
electric fuel pump
2006 1854 full floatation PD boat
livewell with it's own pump
8' gunbox
extended deck
side console
pointed bow
12V accesory plug
6 gallon gas tank
fire extinguishers
LED interior lights
hard-sided blind that is insulate and waterproof, there is a hatch on each side for retrieving cripples in open water, blind was a low low when I bought it and I have flip doors to make it a high low that can easily be removed.
homemade dog ladder on the rear (currently not installed)
on the rear of the boat there is a homemade platform that covers all the wires and battery where the dog sits
hyrdoturf throughout boat
electric anchor on the front of the boat with an extra switch on the console
winch receiver on the front with wiring so the winch just be plugged in at the front
1500lb SuperWinch with synthetic rope
padded gunbox for seating( currently as I put generic turf on that but still come with the boat)
3 seat pedestal mounts
deck rails
navigation lights are
bilge pump
livewell with it's own pump
previous owner had it wired up for a trolling motor and all the wiring is still there
camoed in shadow grass
clarke galvanized trailer with swing away tongue, LED lights, jack stand, and full spare
With a light load boat will run low 30s, I never push the boat over 4250
With the blind on and a hunting load of 2 guys, dog, decoys, and lots of gear I can get mid 20s pretty easily in deep water, but again I pretty much use the mods to just get on plane and then back off and run the motor about 4k to 4100k
New this boat would be $23k without some of the extras I've put on and without the blind. This blind is homemade but it is really nice to hunt out of.
I know I'm forgetting some stuff so I'll list it as I remember it. Even though it has the 5100rpm chip in it from BPS, it's never even been tried above 4400 with 95% of the running below 4300 unless it's hit a stump and kicked up. Boat will come with pods to cover the lane when in storage. Also come with a Hopkins clever and some extra props that are worn.
I dont really have any picture to show the boat with out the blind, and currently the boat is filled with decoys, but can get picture for those who are serious otherwise just come take a look. The blind hunts very nice, super comfy with 4 guys and a dog, heaters, cook stove etc. I can fit 300+ standard duck decoys in the boat or 90 goose floaters or 60 goose floaters and 150 duck decoys, She holds a ton of decoys.
Price $15,500, Would also take partial Trade on a mod v jon boat, no smaller than a 1756 to a 2072 with a reliable tiller( would prefer an 1860 or bigger) Contact Alex at 608-three9seven3one4 two. Boat is located in West Salem, WI. I will not take you for a joy ride unless you are truly serious about buying. Don’t waste my time.
birds view, the lanes can be grassed much better but just threw it up quick for a photo
Showing the front door to cover the bow
Front lid opened
Side Door
open lane, I have 60 goose floaters in here in this photo
