I went out alone. Area I was hunting was a ducky as I've ever seen it, but I didn't shoot any ducks. 9 am shooting time didn't help much but in a way it was a blessing because it helped me not take any pot shots at any birds that I wasn't 100 percent sure were teal. Had some birds working around my crummy 5 decoy spread later in the morning but I didn't shoot at any.
I did kill one goose so at least I'm off the schnide for 2014.

Bite was off. The wind and cold front slowed it down. Few perch and a few crappie. Spent most the time looking towards the sky.

I got out a few days on public for teal season. I hate it here in Green Bay, too many idiots. Opening day 3 guys set up 20 yards from me in this small marsh, scared away all the birds with his mud motor that he ran for an hour, and then pepper'd me more than 5 times!!! But managed to pick these two off on Saturday morning on the bay rather than in the marsh. How is everybody else liking the this teal season we had? .

Nice work!!!! Did you get those doa decoys last year? If so how do you like them? Yea we got them last year, didnt use them much as my buddy has a trailer with close to 10 doz foots. I will say now after hunting over foots a good amount I love there durability but the bases fall off when carrying them and it sucks rear. We have to walk into fields a lot in early season (it keeps the farmers happy). The doa bases do NOT fall off. You dont have to bag the doas. To us you cant go wrong. Have not hunted them enough to say they are of superior durability but after this season I hope i can make the judgement call.

Nice, we have them at work and they look great, but haven't talked to anyone who has hunted over them yet, but they seem pretty sweet!

A couple drywall screws will help the big foot bases from falling off.
