I was wondering if anyone on here uses a 10 gauge for waterfowl? I use a Browning Gold 10, it is my main shotgun for mid to large waterfowl. It patterns large size shot better than ANY of my 12's with very little felt recoil.

I've always wanted to buy a 10 gauge, unfortunately I let someone talk me out of buying one. But now I'm back on the market for one. I have a few questions though. I never really looked but what's the cost difference between 12 and 10 gauge shells? And in you're opinion is it worth buying a 10 gauge? I'll most likely use it for goose hunting.

I pay $14.99 to $18.99 per box for my shells or I shoot reloads from my friend. I don't think that is too bad of a price for premium steel shot. Last week I bought 2 cases of Federal High Density(2's& BB's) for $169.99 a case. The point is you have to shop around. You don't need a ten gauge to kill waterfowl but they are fun to shoot.
