Im in your boat. I have run just about every deek on the market and owned or ran almost all calls from large massed produced cnc to small hand turned customs. I don't post on other forums to stroke some company, just lay down an honest opinion, but there is always some staffer who chimes in to spread there feces.

there is always the avery guy who says they have the best customer service and no paint issue, the dakota decoy guy who says because they switched to dakota their kill numbers doubled, bigfoot has many followers and a small staff (shawn wagner is only one in WI) but he shoots you straight on the stuff, tanglefree i know a buddy on that and he has never pushed a product on anyone just says to check it out or let me know whats coming out, hardcore never met or heard from anyone, rig-em-right guys are a mix of the guys who shoot ya straight or bullchit ya, and then there is the call guys. The call guys can be a mix of of both and from one spectrum to the other. In my opinion you shouldnt buy a high dollar call as your first call without blowing it first, I still wont buy a call without trying it first. I did that when i was younger on some cheaper calls only to open em up and they sound horrible.
