Yeah that is a good looking rig, can't wait to see that orion motor with the Gator Glide at the next mud run! I think that's a sweet setup!

Meet me at my place.... Just messin. Prob Be a bit of a haul for ya.
Nice thing about a nice rig like that is, if ya beach er, should be easy to drag out. Thats the bad thing about my tank. Had to get a winch for the front. Ya aint gonna push that tank.

Wow that boat looks pretty cool! Where'd you find that? My friend in IN has it. Comes with a 5hp Merc short drive. Big enough for me, Elvis and 1 other. I am gonna pick it up in July. RK

Thinking about getting this! Any thoughts? RK Hope you hunt some small secluded waters. I wouldn't be caught in that boat out on this miss, especially with two full grown men and a dog. I could see it as a solo boat and a dog for floating small rivers and creeks. Looks like a one man layout boat from the picture provided. What are your intentions for the boat?

I used to have a carstens canvasbavk with a 9hp long tail on it. looked similar to that. I would take me and the dog out hunting in it. Was a slick set up. I could hunt patches of cat tails (very short) in the middle of some lakes and marshes here and other guys in a standard john boat couldnt because they wouldnt pass the 50% concealment rule

A small long tail would work perfect for that little thing.

Well i should have my boat back from illowa in the next week or two. Down side is the work cost about double what I had planned on but on the bright side all the wiring has been upgraded, new exhaust put on since my bps crossover fell apart, and a few other odds and ends fixed up. Guess thats the downside to buying a used rig that you dont really know what happened to it prior to your use.
Gotta get some modifications done to the blind before season but I think i might try and get some crappies in the pan before that.
